The video was shot in Cannes (Hotel Carlton) and Nice at the Cote d'Azur in France and features its colours. The song became a big hit for John on both sides of the Atlantic, peaking at #4 in the UK and #12 in the U.S. Martha Wash later covered the song on the soundtrack to The First Wives Club.
